About Labradors of Antler Trails

The Labs of Antler Trails started in 2001 with our first lab Sadie.  Sadie was an adult lab adopted through a
shelter in southern Minnesota.  She was everything a lab person would want in a companion lab, a best buddy.
Unfortunately, our time together was short.  Sadie passed away from cancer 7 months after joining our family.  In
those 7 months though, she taught us so much.  We learned all the joys and pains that come with owning a lab,
she taught us that the labrador retriever was the breed for us, to treasure the time you have with your canine
buddy because life is short, and the painful lesson of knowing when to let go.  After Sadie's passing, we bought
our first labrador retriever puppy.
We haven't been the same since!  For more information about the Labs of

About Antler Trails

Welcome to Antler Trails, the home of
Rick and Donna Edington.

Antler Trails came to be in 1998, when Rick and
Donna purchased the Heiskari family farmstead
from Donna's Uncle Paul.  Once a working dairy/beef
cattle farm with 160 acres, the Edington's had to
decide what their vision of the farm and land was
going to be.  That's how Antler Trails, Labradors of
Antler Trails, and Antler Trails Kennel Up came to be.
About Antler Trails Kennel Up

Antler Trails Kennel Up began construction in 2003 and opened for business in January 2004.  Designed by Rick
and Donna, their vision was a small boarding kennel that provided
"personalized care" for the dogs left in their
care, along with providing
peace of mind for the boarder's parents.  With very few kennels in the area, the
Edington's saw there was a need for quality boarding care, and add in Donna's love of dogs and owning her own
business again, it was a perfect fit.  Currently Antler Trails Kennel Up should expand with additional kennels due
to it's popularity, but Rick and Donna have decided against it.  Bigger isn't always the best.  For more information
