| Antler Trails |
| Here at Antler Trails, our labs are our family members. From the time they are young, they are raised in our home. We not only expect them to be good hunting dogs, we expect them to be well mannered house companions too. They live side by side with us. Their hunting abilities in the field come naturally. Our labs are primarily used for upland hunting since they are born natural flushers and their retrieving abilities make our hunting experiences moments to remember. Our lines are from American and British lines, Titled Field Trial or Hunt Test lines, Tournament Hunting lines, and active hunting lines. We personally train and run our own dogs, both for hunting and for AKC Hunt Test Events. |

| Princess Rose Thornbird 10-01-07 Sire: Pantwood Penguin JH Dam: Wildrose Red Thornbird Maxi is an all British lab who is fox red with some dark yellow undertones. We acquired her into our family at 6 months old and we are very impressed with her. She has intense retrieving desire and shows natural quartering in the field. True to the British standards, she is calm until it's time to retrieve or work. We look forward to seeing what she can accomplish in 2008. Maxi is currently working on obedience training and field training to participate in Hunt Tests sometime in 2008. |
| Midnight Mist of Antler Trails 12-18-07 Sire: Cashzinger's Kona Express SH (British) Dam: Dakota of Antler Trails JH Misty is the daughter of our girl Koda. She's our little spunky girl in the family, always attentive to what's going on around her. Misty has intense retrieving desire, just like her mom Koda. It already shows that she has the need for speed and loves to use it while retrieving. We look forward to starting her field training this summer and watching her talents and skills develop. Misty is currently attending T3 @ the Duluth Retriever Club. |
| RBK Baron of Antler Trails JH CERF ~ Normal 2008 07~20~06 Sire: TTF Craighorn Indiana Jones Dam: Suso Bear is our British boy from some of the finest lines out of England. True to the British standards, he's a gentleman's hunting dog in the field, laid back and calm as a family dog, and shows great drive and style when participating in Hunt Tests. He quarters naturally while hunting and from the time he was a young pup, he delivers to hand beautifully. He has truly been the easiest of our labs to train. Bear acquired his Junior Hunter Title one day after his first birthday in 2007. Bear has a beautiful water entry, he gives it his all! Bear is continuing with his field training, possibly running in Senior Level Tests in 2008. Bear will be receiving his health clearances this summer and when completed, we will be offering him at stud to approved females (preferably all British females). |

He is a dark yellow boy, with some of the fox red in his ears, etc. He has the combination of the American and British lab traits. He is always looking for something to put in his mouth to carry around. Camo tends to have a more laid-back personality (British trait) than his littermate Misty. He will be starting his field training this summer, along with obedience training. We look forward to watching this boy grow and mature. |

Barney is the sweetest boy we've ever met and people who know him well all say that "there's something special" about him. Barney graduated as a Skilled Companion Dog on November 17, 2007 at the Ohio Regional Center. Barney was placed with an eight year old boy with autism. Donna attended the graduation ceremony to present Barney to his new family. Even with his new skills, Barney was still the laid-back, easy-going boy we knew and loved. Way to go Barney!!! |
| Farley V ~ CCI COC 02~10~07 2-10-07 thru 5-18-08 Raised in our home 5-19-08 thru 6-23-08 Advanced Training in Ohio 6-24-08 to present Loving Family Companion Sire: Naisen (full black lab) Dam: Barra (golden/lab cross) Farley is our second puppy to raise for CCI. He joined our family in April 2007 and lived with us until May 2008. Farley is an extremely intelligent boy and picks up the commands he's learning very quickly. He's an affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and play. Farley went to Ohio for Advanced Training, and after one month, it was discovered he wasn't the right boy for the job! He was a little to independent to be a service dog. So Farley hitched a ride back to Minnesota, where he is back home staying with us. He's now just one of the family! |
