We are Labrador Retriever enthusiasts, who breed our labs to
continue their pedigree lines.  We focus on producing a lab that
will be your hunting buddy and a member of your family, along
with the traits that enable you to be a performance or
competition event participant.
Our labs are trained by us to hunt, along with participating in AKC
Hunt Tests.  While they perform and excel at upland hunting (our
personal favorite), their talents and skills allow them to upland or
waterfowl hunt with you.
Antler Trails is the creation of Rick and Donna Edington, a
husband and wife team, who have taken their love of the outdoors
and their labs, and made their dream a reality.  Situated on 220
acres of fields, wetlands, and forests, The Edingtons are step by
step creating habitat that benefits both retriever training and the
wildlife we share our land with.
Labradors of Antler Trails all began with Rick looking for an upland
hunting dog.  After watching numerous breeds of hunting dogs in
the field, the skill, beauty and athletic abilities of the lab caught
his attention.  Add in the temperament, train-ability and loyalty of
the lab, it's the perfect family dog for an active family.

We occasionally will have puppies for sale (one litter per year).
Both the sire and dam must have proper health clearances, such
as OFA rating of excellent or good and yearly eye CERF exam.
They must have desirable traits to pass on to their offspring.  We
look for the following traits:  Nose (scent), Train-ability,
Temperament, Drive, Natural Quartering, and Marking Ability.  In
the end, we wish to achieve a pup who will have natural abilities
to excel at hunting and the train-ability to become your prized
(and envied) hunting partner (and your best friend and treasured
family member).
